Ever watched a movie for a person and finally found that the person has very little screen time. Yes, It has happened to me this week.

Well, I saw the below picture of Rosamund Pike and decided to watch the movie. But, it turns out that she appears for only about 4 to 5% screen time in the entire movie. Huh! But the movie was good.

A murder happens as the story opens and it’s a clear case for trial as Ryan Gosling thinks. I was wondering what is there to solve but then I realise that the story has manipulated me. It’s a murder thriller but is not fast. The story is the key in the movie as you find things falling apart one by one in front of your eyes and you find yourself stuck in the manipulation which is happening.

The story comes to an end as Ryan Gosling is able to find a crack in the case to reveal the truth. Overall the movie starts as a no brainer, slow with beautiful cinematography but makes you think a lot before it ends on a good note.

And yes, I forgot to mention that it has Antony Hopkins as the antagonist. One more reason to watch the movie as we know that he won’t let us down.

Fracture, a movie for a day when you want to watch something different.
